Visi

Pusat Penciptaan, Pengkajian dan penyaji Kriya Seni (Produk) yang unggul dan berbasis budaya lokal berwawasan kebangsaan untuk memperkaya kemanusiaan sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman.

Misi

1. Peningkatan wawasan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi dan seni melalui pembelajaran kriya seni (produk) untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang profesional siap berkompetisi didunia kerja.

2. Mengadakan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memahami dan mengembangkan potensi muatan lokal dalam penciptaan dan pengkajian Kriya Seni (Produk) yang kreatif dan inovatif.

3. Optimalisasi organisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan produktivitas program studi Kriya Seni (Produk).

4. Mengembangkan Kerjasama dengan lembaga terkait baik dalam maupun luar negeri secara berkesinambungan.

Kesejahteraan Mahasiswa

Bagi mahasiswa kriya Seni (Produk) diberikan bebas SPP selama 1 (satu) tahun, (semester satu dan dua). Mahasiswa dengan IP. 3,5 setiap semester diprioritaskan  mendapat beasiswa sampai akhir studi. Disamping itu mahasiswa Kriya Seni (Produk) diprioritaskan untuk mendapatkan beasiswa BIDIK MISI sampai selesai menempuh studi dengan syarat - syarat dan ketentuan berlaku.

Program Studi Kriya Seni / Produk

Program studi Kriya Seni memiliki dua minat yaitu Kriya Kayu dan Kriya Keramik dengan jenjang S1. Masing - masaing minat berproses kerja secara intensif untuk menuangkan ide - ide kreatif dan menciptakan produk - produk kriya fungsional maupun bersaing dengan produk - produk lain dipasar kerja. Lulusannya dapat diterima diberbagai instansi baik instansi pemerintah maupun instansi swasta serta mampu bersaing dalam dunia usaha.

Fasilitas

Program Studi Kriya Seni sebagai pusat operasional dan pelayanan administrasi terpadu memiliki fasilitas berupa studio kriya kayu dan kriya keramik yang lengkap. Untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar Program Studi Kriya Seni FSRD ISI Denpasar memiliki 21 orang tenaga pengajar ( Dosen) dengan kualifikasi S2 dan S3 serta 1 orang tenaga laboran.

Deskripsi

Art Crafts is aimed for students with well developed hands-on workshop skills who seek to develop a critical and reflective approach to their practice. Crafting and learning are intertwined and through a contextual program, you will explore the detail of the art craft within all aspect of the contemporary culture and society.

The art craft students come from applied arts, fine art and design backgrounds, including visual communication, interior design, and fashion design. You will develop an innovative studio practice through exploring new and existing materials and processes. Through the development of a personal project, you will critically engage with contemporary debates in applied arts, design and object based art and explore collectively the meaning of art craft and human object relationship. A wide range of work will be produced during the program and for the final purposes.

On the program of study you will be asked to consider the broadest applications of technique and material within a craft skilled oriented culture. We encourage you to think, through the object of expression, how these uses effect our perception of craft culture. You will be asked to think about the art craft as both woods and ceramics. Our excellent technical staff will introduce you to the real studio processes, advanced alternative casting, shaving, finishing management and much more. One-to-one technical support provides invaluable opportunities to develop specific skills.

You will be asked to test and explore the creative possibilities and limit of the medium, and will be encouraged to develop approaches that feed new and innovative ways of working. You will investigate method through which your work reaches its audience, from physical installation, exhibition, and publication, to new media and web. Thought by prominent artists, critics, curator and publisher, you will be offered opportunities, to develop new ideas, and approaches whilst developing professional contacts and an independent practice. This program of study prepares you for job in arrange of professional and commercial environments. Recent graduates have been selected for and have exhibited in major Indonesian competitions and exhibitions. This program of study provides you with an extensive opportunities.
